Flat fish, with modified pectoral fins with wavy spots it uses to 'walk'. Its mouth is subterminal to inferior. Tannish body that may have patches of yellow/orange. Pale-ringed (ocellated) spots on its dorsal side, primarily on shoulders and sides.
