Description:

Wide flat and compressed head with small terminal to slightly upward facing mouth. Eyes located on top of head. Cylindrical scaleless body that tapers to a rounded tail, body shape similar to that of tadpole. Modified pectoral fins form a suction cup-like area around belly. Mottled reticulated body with spots of varying hues of brown, black, gray, and olive-green. Dark vertical bands starting from head down to tail.

Habitat:
